Fire-resistance requirements: As per IEC 60331-21 (at 750ºC for 90 minutes).Optional: IEC 60331-1/2 (830ºC) / BS6387 CWZ (950ºC). See alternatives: Extended circuit integrity.
Halogen content requirements: As per IEC 60754-1/2 - Non-halogen.
Smoke opacity requirements: As per IEC 61034 - Smoke density.
Toxicity requirements: As NES 713 / CEI 20-37 - Non-toxic.
Conductor requirements: As per IEC 60228 / IRAM NM 280.

Conductor: Annealed electrolytic copper, class 5 stranding.
Insulation: Mica tape + XLPE (crosslinked polyethylene).
Identification: White and alpha-numerically printed in black.
Sheath: LSZH-HFFR (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen - Halogen- Free, Flame-Retardant), orange.

Armour: Zinc-plated steel wire serve or double zinc-plated steel tape spiral wrap.

installation

Assembly: Minimum bend radius is 7xOD (unarmoured versions) or 12xOD (armoured versions).
Maximum pulling tension: 5daN/sq mm on copper conductors. Wire-armoured cables can withstand 10daN/sq mm on the armour wires.
Assembly temperature: 5ºC or higher.

Conductor: Class 2 semi-rigid stranded cable can be supplied upon request.
Identification: One of the conductors of each cable isolated on green / yellow. Use other colors to identify such as black, gray, blue, etc.
Extended circuit integrity: This is a special design engineered to comply with highly demanding fire tests. Special construction is compliant with the following standards and tests:
BS 6387 standard:
Category C: Direct exposure to fire for 3 hours at 950ºC.
Category W: Direct exposure to fire for 15 minutes at 650ºC + Exposure to water spray for a further 15 minutes.
Category Z: Direct exposure to fire for 15 minutes at 950ºC + Mechanical shock simulated by striking the cable specimen against the backing panel every 30 seconds.
IEC 60331-1/2 standard: Direct exposure to fire for 2 hours at 830ºC +Mechanical shock simulated by striking the cable specimen against the backing panel every 5 minutes.
