Multi-quad cables
For low and high frequency electrical signals transmission, for the transmission of electrical current in a low tension and intensity regime, for vocal communications. Used in underground train operations and for passenger access in underground stations. Installed in trays, cable ladders, in direct open air or indoors, directly buried or buried in a trench or in ducts.

Conductor: Single annealed electrolytic copper wire
Insulation: High density polyethylene (HDPE)
Assembly: 4 conductors twisted in a compacted quad. Diagonally opposing conductors make the pair
Lay length: Lower than 150mm
Bedding: LSZH-HFFR
Shield: Copper tape with the correct thickness and overlap to comply with reduction factor lower than 0.3 (FR <0.3)
Separation inner sheath: LSZH-HFFR
Armour: Double galvanized steel helical tape
Sheath: LSZH-HFFR (Low Smoke Zero Halogen - Halogen Free Flame Retardant), fire-retardant sunlight and oils resistant
Fire requirements: As per IEC 60332-3-24
Standard for halogen absence and corrosive gases: As per IEC 60754-1/2
Smoke transparency requirements: As per IEC 61034-1/2
Toxicity standard: As per NES 713 – CEI 20.37
