This type of cable is required for extra-heavy duty industrial use. They are power cables for voltage up to 2000V, reinforced portable, for use in mining developments for heavy mobile equipment such as cables drag, shovels, drills and power feeders. In oil fields it is used for feeding mobile drilling equipment, and in general for mobile outdoor installations with vertical and horizontal movement. It can withstand, while fixed or in movement, all types of efforts: traction, torsion, and flexion; caused by standard cable winding equipment. It counts with plastic materials which provide suitable protection against chemical products, harsh environment, tear and impacts. Additionally, these materials do not release halogen gases in the event of a fire. Suitable for applications where grounding conductors (G) and ground check conductors (GC) are needed The cable has individual shielding on each phase conductor.

  • Maximum operating temperature: 90°C for fixed installation / 60°C for mobile use and occasional bending

  • Minimum ambient temperature: -40°C in fixed installation / -25°C for occasional bending

  • Rated voltage: 2000 Volt CA

  • Construction standard: ICEA S 75-381

  • Conductors standard: ASTM B 33/172/174

  • Conductor: Annealed electrolytic copper in flexible formation.

  • Separator: Helical tape between conductor and insulation

  • Insulation: EPR

  • Armor: Each phase conductor will have a tape on the insulation, then a braid of tinned copper wires and textile threads is arranged. Minimum coverage of 60%.

  • Cable formation: 3F (Phase) + 2G (Ground) + 1GC (Ground Check) Special tapes are applied to the group of conductors to ensure good circularity and allow slight slipping with respect to the cover when the cable is used

  • Cover: Double polyurethane protection resistant to UV rays, hydrocarbons and chemicals in general with internal textile braid reinforcement to achieve greater mechanical integrity.

  • Fire standard: UL 2556 (FT1)

  • Weathering standard: UL 2556 (rayos UV)

  • Hydrocarbon resistance standard: UIC 895 OR (oil, gas oil and fuel oil) / UL 13 (oil) / UL 83 (Fuel C: toluene and isoctane)
